Human tragedy? He committed an evil, mean and disrespectful act that may forevermore change the face of Toomer’s Corner. He was upset because someone put a Cam Newton jersey on Bear Bryant’s statue…big deal. That could be removed with no lasting damage. What he did was horrible and he deserves jail time.

I enjoyed “hating” Shane on Finebaum. Not really hating him because I am a big Bama Fan. I just got embarassed by him so many times. Then realized it was all a performance. And a good one at that.

So very sad and he has been and will be missed.

Sherman was clearly a fish out of water with the college game. His failure was in the 2nd half of games he was unable to make adjustments to the opposition adjustments. He had no feel for the college game and was mirred in the ultraconservative play of the NFL, while not having NFL players on his team.

He has only to look in the mirror for his failures. Poor decisions thru the games with double digit leads kept being repeated over and over and over.

Now that the end has come, I find it totally fitting that one of the things that Shane got to think about during his last week, as Bobby so eloquently put it, was how Alabama beat down Bobby’s beloved Auburn team the previous weekend. R.I.P. Shane! RTR!
