One Response to “From ESPN: Paul Finebaum”

  1.

I have listened to Paul Finebaum’s show a number of times during my drive time. I tune in mostly because it’s ESPN programming and for that my expectations are usually high. But the numerous attacks on Jamis Winston have reached the point absurdity. I listened to him discuss numerous times the student union incident and the crab leg incident while describing him as an “accused rapist”. But today he reached an all-time low in his attacks on this young man. Mr. Finebaum allowed a caller to accuse Jamis Winston of fixing the game against Louisville. He allowed him freedom to discuss this in unabated detail with of course nothing to backup these accusations. I was thoroughly disgusted that ESPN would allow this to occur. And Mr. Finebaum’s, two things –if you want to address real criminal activity why not discuss the Alabama tight end arrested for distributing drugs or are you too pro-Alabama, pro-SEC to speak of such things. Also, the Florida State Prosecutor found no evidence of rape, so perhaps you can change that moniker to “unfairly accused rapist”.
