"REAL Jim From Tuscaloosa"'s recent Critique of The Paul Finebaum Show.

The REAL “Jim From Tuscaloosa”‘s recent Critique of The Paul Finebaum Show.

“Jim from Tuscaloosa” reappeared on The Paul Finebaum Show this week much to the dismay of “Phyllis From Mulga” and others.  Jim “quit” the show recently (again) claiming Phyllis was spreading falsehoods about him.

The two got together on today’s show for a little chat.

“I’ve got a lawyer! You’re a damn IDIOT, woman! You are a total LIAR!” – The REAL Jim From Tuscaloosa.

Seems the world just can’t accept Jim for what he is – “The World’s Greatest Radio Show Caller”.
(cough, cough…)

Racing champion, Jeff Gordon, teams up with Pepsi MAX to pull a prank on an unsuspecting automotive journalist, Travis Okluski.

Okluski, of the web site Jalopnik.com, had questioned the authenticity of the original Pepsi “Test Drive” commercial.

I’m sure Gordon proved his point.

In case you missed it, here’s the original.

Paul Finebaum Takes Aim at "Jim from Tuscaloosa"

Paul Finebaum Takes Aim at “Jim from Tuscaloosa”

By Finebaum Fan.

“I-Man”, a popular “hall-of-fame” caller to The Paul Finebaum Show, added yet another call to his repertoire today.

He began his call by discussing Finebaum’s short-lived collegiate football career at the University of Tennessee.  Finebaum, as everyone knows, was a highly touted quarterback prospect from Memphis whose career was tragically cut short by a knee injury before he was ever able to take the field.

“I-Man” continued (through discussing Larry’s call from yesterday) to a prepared slam of “Darriel from Columbus” but was interrupted by Finebaum.

It seemed Finebaum had “Jim from Tuscaloosa” on his mind.

“Jim” is a controversial character on the show whose exploits are well documented on this site.

Other than using the Finebaum show as a mouthpiece for his ill-placed rants, “Jim” likes to spew his venom anonymously on Twitter.

We would have included a photo of “Jim” to the right, but as far as we know – none exist.

As long as you don’t offend “Jim from Tuscaloosa”, you can follow his Twitter account here.

For your listening pleasure, we present the following audio of the call.

Lars Anderson, journalism professor at the University of Alabama and award-winning writer at Sports Illustrated, joined Paul Finebaum today for the broadcast of “The Paul Finebaum Radio Show”.

Late in the program, “Andy From Ohio” called in to discuss The University of Alabama football and Tuscaloosa Menswear controversy.

He began his call with shot or two at Finebaum’s resident caller, “Jim from Tuscaloosa” before he began elaborating on the subject.

As he has in the past, Finebaum seized the opportunity to pit “caller vs. caller” to deliver “radio gold”.

Finebaum referred to it as “one of the all-time calls”.

Anderson likened the phone call to a prize-fight. When asked by Finebaum who won the decision, Anderson replied,”That was a big beat down there.  Andy – all the way.”

Andy is an attorney from Perrysburg, Ohio, and well – Jim is Jim. The results were inevitable.

Listen to the call and the reaction of Finebaum callers – Will in Ohio, Joe in Michigan, Reverend, Jeff from Washington D.C., and Jimmy:
